We maintain contact with family members during claim, assist in unsnarling the inevitable snags and lend professional guidance and support to the client and the client's family members. We are always available to solve problems. There is never a charge for these extra services.
The History of Hometown Insurors, Inc.
Hometown Insurors was founded in 1989 by Barbara Haselden. After witnessing the care of both grandmothers and the crisis in each case, she felt long term care insurance was a product desperately needed by families and founded the agency on this emerging new product.
Hometown was the first agency in the State of Florida originating with the sole purpose of pioneering the long term care insurance market. We have built and serve a client base concentrated in Florida yet sprinkled all over the United States. Owners Barbara and her daughter Ericka have long been known as vocal advocates for the promotion of long term care insurance. Over 20 years have been personally devoted to public education through published articles, seminars, accreditation teaching authorities, and meeting with politicians, policy makers and industry executives.
While many agents in long term care are new to the business, we have a combined 50 years of experience in our core office staff. All of this experience is brought into every new client relationship.
